Clickable Table of Contents that is fully updatable

The Layout itself has a clickable Table of Contents that links your reader to the headings and sub-headings of your choice on different pages. I always think that this is a very helpful feature for your readers in an ebook and makes it look more professional. If you need to edit your text the table is also configured to update itself with a couple of clicks.


A Clickable Index linked to the words in the text

There is an “Index” at the back of the book that is also nearly automatic. You highlight important words in the text that you want your reader to find easily, you can do this when you are giving the book its final read through. Then with a couple of clicks on the index page, the words are entered alphabetically with their page number. These are all clickable in the final book and take your reader to the page.

Self Adjusting Numbered Pages

Do not worry if you have to make any last minute alterations to the text that changes the number of pages. New numbered pages will be added automatically. As well as this the layout is configured in such a way that you simply click on the Table of Contents, and the Index page, and they will automatically update and change the associated page numbers.

A working hyperlink at the footer of each numbered page.

There is space in the footer of each numbered pages to put a hyperlink to your webpage. It is configured so that you only have to do this once and your link will appear on the bottom of every page. There is also a “To Contents Page ” link.

Webpage and Affiliate Links

The ability to put working hyperlinks in the book to your webpages or with affiliate links. I will clearly show you where so many people have gone wrong in the past creating ebooks where the links just do not work.

I composed the Layout for you using OpenOffice Writer software. This FREE WORDPROCESSOR SOFTWARE is available in many languages and works on all common computers. It is compatible with all other major office suites (including Microsoft Word),and will allow you to import txt files written with most other popular and expensive software, including Microsoft Word.

I suggest that you write your basic text first using OpenOffice Writer or some other popular wordprocessing software and then cut and paste into either of the layouts. I use this system for writing all my own books and I can not recommend it highly enough. Do not worry, OpenOffice Writer will allow you to cut and paste your text into these ebook layouts, even if the text was originally written on another popular and expensive word processor.

What sort of files are the layouts?
They are odt files which work with Open Office Writer, free wordprocessing software that is availible here.

What is an e-Book?
The term e-Book stands for electronic book. It is basically a book that can be read on your PC.

What do I need to read a PDF e-Book?
For books of this type you or your readers will need adobe acrobat reader. You will probably already have this on your PC. If not you can download it free from the Adobe Website

How will my Layouts be delivered?
A link to the secure download page will be sent to the email account associated with your Paypal account.

Will I require any additional software?
If Your digital data is in zipped up (compressed) format to save space. You will need WinZip (or some other suitable ZIP extraction software) to extract the file. Again you will probably have this already on your PC. If not download it free from the Winzip Website.

As you may know, because PDF documents are not as susceptible to carrying computer viruses as Exe. file based ebooks, PDF's are quickly becoming the standard for sharing documents. Google™ has indexed over 100 million PDF documents worldwide in use already. They are extremely popular because they universally viewable across a variety of platforms.

The only downside up until now was that PDF's were a bit complicated and expensive to create. Until recently the only software available was Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer. The price made it not very accessible to a lot of people. On top of that, most people find it complicated to use. The same can also be said of some of the other PDF programs on the market.
