Making Money on Ebay with Children's Books.

If you were expecting a bland article, I hope you are in for a pleasant surprise. Here you will find an ever growing list of Children's Book Authors, each with a link to its owns page. There I have done a small biography, but more importantly, I have highlighted their most collectable books. Also on the page are links to live auctions of the author's works on US Ebay and UK Ebay. Here you will find rare books published by authors under different names, Collectable editions, recalled editions, rare books with faults, in fact all the insider book dealer knowledge you need to make big profits.

Although US and UK culture share a very strong bond, each nation has its own favourite children's books. By studying the auctions you will find two important facts. First, the buyers of both countries undervalue the books of the other. Secondly, bargains still turn up. People with no interest in researching what they are selling or through lack of knowledge, (even with all the media articles and television programs), put valuable and collectable books on Ebay expecting little for them, on a daily basis. If you apply yourself you can use these pages to find bargains. If you want to keep them or sell them for a profit is up to you.

Three words of advice, make sure you keep an eye on the postage charges and if you are not buying in the Ebay auction of your own country, make sure that the sellers will post out of their own country before you bid. Lastly, do not be afraid to ask questions.

I know what you are thinking, this must have taken ages to compile. If you are not mad? Where's the catch? Why are you giving this information away for free or not even using it yourself to get rich? What do you get out of it?If you are looking for a catch, there is not one.

I am an Ebay affiliate, which means every time someone follows a link from this website to Ebay AND then goes on to buy a book, Ebay pays me some pennies. (This does not come out of your pocket but from Ebay's vast profits). I tried to be a book dealer but I failed miserably. I had one fatal flaw that doomed my fledgling business. I could find the bargains alright but, I could not bear to part with them. It was not a complete failure though, I discovered two important things about myself, firstly I am a hopeless Bibliophile, I treasure my books with a passion bordering on addiction. Secondly, I am very good at and enjoy doing the research.

So here we are about to enter a symbiotic relationship, that is one of mutual benefit. As long as you find my pages useful and use them to buy books, the pennies will trickle in for me. This is all the encouragement and payment I ask, in return for researching and expanding this website.
